Faye Lewchak

Owner & Wedding Producer

With over eighteen years experience working in the event industry, Faye has become a well sought after planner with a solid reputation among her peers and cliental. She has a great passion for people and is extremely detail orientated. Starting from the initial consultation you will feel immediately embraced by the true passion for your wedding as if it were her own.

Through her hospitality career and schooling in event management, Faye has managed a variety of venues including golf courses, conference centers and restaurants. Through these experiences, Faye realized her ultimate passion was in event planning. In 2010, Faye created Epic Events & Weddings and has not looked back.

Faye is great at thinking outside the box, and she has proved numerous times her ability to perform under pressure and continue on with a smile. Her ability to work alongside clients by providing creative and unique touches to event design, has made Faye a popular choice in the event planning industry.

When Faye is not busy planning events, she spends her time exploring new nature trails with her dog, traveling with her husband and skiing.

Ashley Peters

Lead Event Coordinator + Designer

Ashley has been an integral part of the Epic Events team since 2017, bringing creativity and personalization in design to each event. Whether it's keeping up with the latest trends, or creating the latest wedding design, Ashley always maintains a strong attention to detail.

Growing up in Kelowna, BC she is no stranger to the hospitality industry. Ashley transitioned her skills organically into event planning through working in the hospitality industry her entire life. Her natural flair for décor styling, passion for modern culture and management, has complimented and developed her skills in event planning and designing.

Through working in restaurants, various fundraising events, volunteer work, and assisting in weddings and intimate private parties, Ashley’s optimistic personality and constructive way of thinking has brought her into the career she is in today. Once given the opportunity to orchestrate casual cocktail parties, intimate gatherings and wedding assistance she was hooked.

A proud graduate of QC Event School, Ashley holds two certificates for luxury event planning and décor styling.

Whether its problem solving or maintaining the calm energy amongst the chaos, Ashley has her finger on the pulse of the job at hand, and flourishes at exceeding the expectations of each client. Her inspiration comes from attending art exhibits, reading fashion and design blogs, as well as exploring new restaurant trends in the culinary world.

When Ashley isn't busy planning weddings or other events, you will find her sitting at a local coffee shop plugging away at her next design board, off for a run in the beautiful outdoors or exploring new events to attend in the city.
